General terms and conditions

1. Scope
‍These general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, deliveries and other services between Nomades7 KG (Alexander Heritsch, based in Austria) and its customers. We only accept deviating conditions if they have been agreed in writing.

‍2. Product quality and vintage features
‍Our rugs are mostly handmade vintage pieces. Due to their age and craftsmanship, there may be slight signs of wear, patina, discoloration, repairs or minor material irregularities.
These features do not represent a defect within the meaning of warranty law and are part of the particular aesthetics of the pieces.

‍3. Information on origin, age and materials
‍All descriptions of origin, age and materials are based on careful testing, expertise and information from our upstream suppliers.
However, no legally binding guarantee can be given as to the absolute accuracy of this information, as complete historical verification is naturally excluded for handmade vintage products.

‍4. Right of withdrawal and returns
‍Private customers residing in the European Union (EU/EEA) have the statutory right of withdrawal. The cancellation period is 14 days from receipt of the goods.
The revocation must be declared in writing by letter or e-mail.

‍Expiration:
‍Return only in original packaging and unused condition.
Return costs are borne by the buyer.
Reimbursement will only be made after receipt of the goods and successful inspection for condition and completeness.
Shipping charges are not refundable.
Depreciation due to use or damage may be deducted from the refund amount.

‍Important:
For business customers (B2B), returns are generally excluded.
Returns from third countries outside the EU (e.g. USA, Great Britain, Switzerland) are excluded.

‍5. Liability
‍Nomades 7 is only liable for intent and gross negligence. We are only liable for slight negligence in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations.

‍6. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction
‍Austrian law applies exclusively to the exclusion of international law, in particular the UN Sales Convention.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the competent court at the headquarters of Nomades 7 in Austria.

‍7. Salvatory clause
‍Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
