Contemporary Berber carpet, hand-knotted around 1950 in the style of Beni Mguild from Morocco.
A rug with a rare patina and quiet depth — a symbol of life itself.
Narrated through its lines of growth, branching and change.
This rug is particularly effective in quiet, conscious spaces — places where memory, depth and reflection can find space. Ideal for libraries, private retreats, workspaces with a personal character or living areas where time and history should remain tangible. “27,508 days of life” is not decoration, but a silent testimony of lived years.
We deliver worldwide — free of charge. Each rug is shipped safely and insured from our warehouse in Austria. Depending on the region, the delivery time is approx. 2 to 10 working days. Customs duties may apply outside the EU and are to be borne by the recipient.
The artistic symbolism is reminiscent of the “web of life” — a woven tree of knowledge that has grown over decades. The patina of time, the golden nuances and the centrally placed axis invite you to reflect on the past and the future. A rug like a life's work: interwoven with memory, spiritual depth and quiet power.
Hand knotted on a vertical loom made from natural sheep wool. The pile is medium-high, dense and has a warm, grippy structure. The golden patina, which has developed over decades, is particularly eye-catching — it gives the carpet an exceptional depth and aura. The symmetrical composition and the central axis motif make it an expressive unique piece.
Nomades7 is more than a brand — it is a curated collection of individual textile pieces with origin, attitude and soul. Each rug is made entirely by hand by Berber women in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Alexander Heritsch selects these pieces locally — not based on their appearance, but on the basis of energy, symbolism and history. We believe that spaces need more than beautiful things — they need meaning. That's why we don't sell mass-produced goods, but woven time. Each piece is unique that not only lies — but also works.
And that a hand-knotted rug doesn't just lie — it stays.
