All rugs by nomades⁷ are shipped from Austria. Each piece originates from our curated selection of handcrafted originals from the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Shipping is handled by reliable international partners and includes tracking and insurance.

2. Customs & Free Trade Agreement (USA)

Due to the existing U.S.–Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA), handcrafted rugs of Moroccan origin are currently often treated as duty-free by U.S. Customs authorities. However, the final customs decision is always made by the competent authorities. nomades⁷ provides transparent information on the current regulations, but cannot guarantee duty-free treatment.

3. Invoice Note for U.S. Customs

For exports to the United States, the following origin declaration is stated on every commercial invoice to correctly declare the handcrafted nature and country of origin:

All rugs by nomades⁷ are shipped from Austria and originate from handcrafted production in the Moroccan Atlas Mountains. Thanks to the U.S.–Morocco Free Trade Agreement (MAFTA), these rugs are currently often treated as duty-free by U.S. Customs. Alle Teppiche von nomades⁷ werden aus Österreich versendet. Die Stücke stammen aus unserer kuratierten Auswahl handgefertigter Originale aus dem marokkanischen Atlasgebirge. Der Versand erfolgt über verlässliche internationale Partner mit Tracking und Versicherung.

2. Zoll & Freihandelsabkommen (USA)

Aufgrund des bestehenden Freihandelsabkommens zwischen den Vereinigten Staaten und Marokko (MAFTA) werden handgefertigte Teppiche dieser Herkunft von den US-Zollbehörden derzeit häufig zollfrei behandelt. Die finale Zollentscheidung liegt jedoch immer bei den zuständigen Behörden. nomades⁷ informiert transparent über den aktuellen Stand der Bestimmungen, kann aber keine Garantie für die Zollfreiheit übernehmen.
